Automatis transmission gf4a-el

Hello friends...

I have a 1997 Xedos, 2,0 V6 with a gf4a-el automatic transmission.

Reverse works fine... first and second gear is also fine, but when the shift to third comes problems occurs. The engine rises in revolutions, as in neutral. Gearbox is slipping, and acceleration stops.
Any Ideas about what to change or repair?

Sorry to hear about your shifting problem. That is a fairly common issue with this transmission as it ages. If the ATX fluid looks and smells fine you could try a shift modifier or do a fluid drain, look at the pan, change the filter and put fresh Dex III in and see if it improves. Good luck.
