Thanks to everyone whom posted the pictures of the EGR ports. Cleaning those out really helps. I did this over the weekend, and the car already seems to be running better. The ports had some black carbon build up in them. I sprayed some carb cleaner like stuff in there and wiped it and the throttle butterfly clean with a rag. I repeated this several times.

I think this old Milly might last another 6 or 7 years.

I got my millenia in April of 06' with 63,000 miles on it. She now has 77,000 (in october of 06') and everything seams to be working fine. The trunk release button stopped working, but I think I just found out why due to this wonderful website and just today I noticed the compas in my rear view mirror doesnt work anymore. It says I'm going East all the time. It worked fine until sometime in the past few days.

Doc--

You can reset the trunk release by pressing the button in the glove compartment.

Hello forum,

I am a recent buyer of the millenia. I got the '02 @ 52K. At the moment I have 57K and I was hearing that at the 60K mark, there's supposed to be an overhaul of sorts to be done at the dealership. What all is entailed in that work and is it really necessary for the work.

Thanks for the response as I have yet to make any repairs to this car and really don't want to in the near future.

The only issue I have at this time is I can't open my car with my key. The key will unlock the car, but it sets the factory alarm off every time. How can I get the car not to do that?

102k on my mom's car. She bought if almost 5 years ago. She bought it with 60k on the clock for 8k back in Mar 2002.

We replaced the tranny in summer 04
Replaced both cv axles in 03
Replaced all the motor mounts in March 06
Had a vaccume leak right after the motor mounts were put on.

Its broken down(leaving my mom stranded) only twice. Once was a big fuse. Other time the starter clable was corroded.

Needs some o2 sensors and it runs super rough.
She hasnt driven it for 4 months.

I love the Millenia but these problems are ridiculous for a car with barely 100k.
