In fact ther european version of Millenia (XEDOS 9) was available with three diiferent engine versions: 2.0L V6; 2.3 V6 Miller Cycle and 2.5L V6. This situation has changed in 2000 I think. From there on only two engine versions are available 2.3 Miller Cycle and 2.5 V6.

The appearence is identical apart from those three details I've mentioned above. However I must say that Xedos 9 (Millenias) are rare cars in Europe, mostly because of the fact that are manufactured in Japan and there is a high custom tariff on cars assembled there.

I don't think that there are any 2.0 millenias...

Mazda makes lots of motors...

1.8 V6
2.0 V6
2.3 V6
2.5 V6
3.0 V6

but anyway... if you are talking about boring out the 2.3 ~> 2.5, why stop there?

the 03 block can be bored out to 2.7... if you are going to go... go big :P

My big question about boring out the 2.3 is how much trouble is it going to be to rework the computer to make such a car run correctly. If memory serves me correct when you bore out an engine you will also change the compression ratio of said engine, thus changing what the onboard brain thinks the engine is supposed to do. Otherwise it sound like fun.
P.S. has anyone thought about putting a 2.3 millercycle into a 2 door Protoge? I just think that would be too much fun to play with, plus a big ass waste of spare time/money that I don't have.
