hood scoop

Does anyone have one and how would it look on a milly? Would it just be for show or would it somehow increase performance from the supercharger?

I dunno, A small 1 might look good. although a hood scope never increase's any power on any car. wow I watch to much discovery channel, basicaly once the car is going over 35-50mph because of the drag etc the wind actually flows over the scope and creates an airless vacuum, this is why during the 50's and 60's with muscle cars they had the things come though the hood and stand tall to stuck in air. and although the millenia has very low drag( .32) or something off the top of my head, it would still create the same problem. but again, a small 1 might look cool

I would leave the Milly alone. A hood scoop on a near luxury car looks kinda stupid in my opinion. I'm just being honest princess. Don't hate me.

I do think it would be functional though, isnt the intercooler on top of the motor on the 2.3l.......

It would be nearly impossible to make it functional. It would have to be feeding an intercooler or intake somehow. I don't think it would look bad. That redish show milly that got posted here had a scoop, and everyone thought that was cool!

i never considered the hood skoop on the orange millenia kewl! every thang else was though!

Here is a the car I was thinking of, although its not actually a scoop you can get an idea of what one would look like. My guess is this is a carbon fiber, custom job....$$$$$

Wow, that's one cool milly! Weird though, I haven't came across it yet! I live in the same area as Davor and heard from many people that it's sick! Can't wait to be cruzin in summer and pulling up beside that beauty!
