do not be discouraged young grasshopper, when I retire at 100,000 posts someone will have to take my place. also, I know for a fact that 97 and on ALL had an in-glass antenna, I know all 95's had 1 that raised and lowered, I think 96 was half and half

Yesterday, I tried to take my old antenna off to be replaced with the new one which is coming this week, but couldn't do it because I didn't know where to unscrew them. Anyone have a word on this?

95-96 models has a power antenna and a window antenna. It used a diversity system (TWO antennas)....later models (dunno if it was 97 or 98 & up) omitted the power antenna and had only a window antenna.

Earlier models have noticably better reception in fringe areas than later models. If you live in a city you would not notice a difference. In the country (where I live) it's a huge difference. My 1999 Acura Integra 4-door had a window antenna. 1999 was the first year the 4-door integra didn't have a power antenna. I couldn't pick up anything....bought Sirius satellite radio....perfect as the window antenna in the Integra was only good at picking up FM Modulation broadcast from the vehicle itself. The Millenia, by comparison, has amazing reception. I can pick up stations literally a hundred miles away or more. AM reception is far better.
