a generic chrysler key for the jeep was over $45 at the dealer...

you think $75 is bad...the Volvo S60R has switchblade-type keys, comes with 2 remotes and 2 spares. If you want another remote, you gotta bring in all the remotes and have them all reprogrammed....and each new key (and remote in one) costs $325...

...not including reprogramming...

but really how many remotes or keys do you need?

even if you're married and have a kid who drives, you only need 2 remotes...give the kid a spare key, and maybe 1 spare in the house (valet key or something) - if you bought the car new you could probably get them to make you one for cheap when you buy it...
