First, let me say that anyone who reads this, please do not suggest that I go to the stealer to fix this. If I could afford it, this thread wouldn't even exist. I know this should be fixed by the stealer but for now I wanna see where I can get with the forums! Thank you!
1. OK! Here are the Miller Cycle guts! ![]() 2. There is a very loud air blowing noise coming from a hose inside this dark hole. It sounds like a tire air machine. That has to be the big vacume leak causing the CEL. I just noticed this loud air noise this morning. So my guess is the leak just got bigger over time. ![]() 3. When I squeeze this hose, the air noise gets quieter and then gets loud again when I let go. This hose runs to that dark hole and connects to a 3 hose splitter. ![]() The splitter is broke, which I don't know if I did or not. I dont know whether the hose is ripped or if the splitter was already broke before I pulled on it. In any case, I duct taped the splitter back to the hose and it still makes the same noise. Give me some input guys! How much do you think the dealer will charge? You definitely gotta take off the super charger to get in the hole. I tried, but I couldn't get it off. I took off about 15 bolts and everything. I could probably do it with more time, but I don't wanna **** anything else up. Oh yeah, the car still runs normal!

You don't have to take the s/c out to get at all those hoses. Just have to take all the crap that sits on top of the s/c out. When I did the vcg's I found a broken splitter in my gf's car also. Since you have a digital camera, my advice is to start ripping **** out and take many pictures as you do it, so you know where everything goes come time to put it back together.
It really looks more intimidating than it is. Start by getting rid of the intercoolers, battery, EGR, and everything else in GSRex's guide, except the plugs and coil packs. Then disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body, and get rid of the two brackets bolting it down. After that, pretty much everything in the picture can be taken out as one big piece. After wasting a great deal of time I realized that removing it all as one piece is a lot easier than taking everything out piece by piece. And there are fewer bolts whose residence you need to remember. The good thing is that you don't need to remove neither the fuel rail or the intake manifolds. One thing I would recommend before you start this is go somewhere where you can clean the engine at least with just compressed air. You'll be surprised how much crap builds up in/around that engine. Take this advice from experience, when I took the front intake manifold off a bunch of sand fell into the valve port, had to spend 20-30min. clearing it out with air (have a compressor) and ghetto rigged vacuum attachment. PM me your email address and I'll send you pics.

If i were you, I would buy some silicone vacume holes and replace them all. Cause to me, if i read it correctly. You have a air leaking in the vacume holes. But, i could be wrong. But its worth a try before bring'ing it to the shop for repair.

That's some good help, Renboy
DJ...I would recommend trying to replace that splitter instead of duct taping it. Vacuum lines are tricky basards and even though it might seem like the tape should seal it, it's proabably not doing a great job at it. Once you followed Renboy's suggestions and my guide, go ahead and get a new hose and t-valve in there like MAX suggested. Good Luck DJ...hope you get it fixed.

Can you get in there with a pair of long-neck needle-nose pilers?
They also make a pair of long-curved-neck needle-nose pilers to get in around those curves. Maybe also a small mechanic's mirror with a telescopic extension to see in there? Other than that, I don't know what else to do except to remove the intake manifold to get access to that hose, then you would probably have plenty of room to work. But that would probably be the last resort.

WTF, guys?! I didn't use the duct tape as a permanant fix. I just put it on there to hold the broken splitter together as best as possible til I can figure out how the **** to get in there and replace the splitter and the hoses. And for this problem, it does not seem like duct tape will seal the splitter at all, but I figured it's better than leaving it totally disconnected. I still gotta drive the son-of-a-bitch!
Also, it would be very hard to get all the hoses connected to the splitter using just pliers without removiing any parts. GSR, where can I find this "guide" you speak of?
