Can anyone tell me where, in the engine, the Intake Air Temperature Sensor is located? I just got a performance power modification that requires me to hook it up there. I know it's near the air filter and the air tube that runs to the engine. A little help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Also, has anyone heard anything or tried one of these mods. Supposedly they give you 20 more horsies by telling the computer that the intake air is a constant 32 degrees farenheit. again, thanks.

they're bullshit from everything ive read here...supposedly makes you run too rich and i forget if anyone's said if it'll do damage or not..., but i'd highly reccomend waiting till you get more reports from people here...try PMing wiz and giving him a link to this - if not him there are some people who know far more than i do about this topic...

sorry but i think you just got ripped...there's no such easy way to magically gain 20hp

If youre feeling gutsy, you can try it first-hand and tell us how it goes. i think...if anything it tricks your computer into making your car run richer and it just burns a lot of gas with only minimul HP gain.

Yeah, just try it for a month and let us know how it goes! That is, if you have the balls!

Well, I'm not sure yet whether or not i have the testicular fortitude to put it on. I'm just scared that it will fudge my car in some way. I'll let you all know if i decide to use it or not.

how much did u pay for that? u realize that if you open up the "power module" or whatever the **** they call it, theres's a 5 cent radio shack resistor in there... also, i wouldn't recommend this mod. it doesn't give you any hp, it just makes your tranny slip thru the gears... which shaves like .00000000000002 seconds off your 1/4 mile... i don't think having a car that much quicker is worth destroying your transmission

You're probably nervous about this mod for good reason. My suggestion would be to wait it out until you recieve further review. I've only heard negative myself.
