You don't remove the vertical bolts themselves. JUST remove the nuts. Then lift off the heavy gauge wire that is held down by those two nuts. All you remove is the NUTS and the WIRES, not the vertical bolts.
Don't try and remove those bolts with visegrips!!! You are just going to strip out the plastic.
Then look under them, and you will see two horizontal bolts. Those bolts you remove.
Once you do that, the fuse should just lift right out.
This is what you remove, in this order.
1. TWO NUTS on top of the vertical bolts.
2. TWO WIRES that are held down by the two nuts on top of the vertical bolts.
3. TWO HORIZONTAL BOLTS that are located under the two vertical bolts.
4. LIFT UP ON THE MAIN FUSE to remove it.

Something is securing the two horizontal bolts. I removed my two nuts holding them down and they don't pull out. Any advice?
