You can get key blanks off eBay pretty cheap. Any place that can cut keys for a Lexus or Mercedes can do it...call around. I think later model ES300s use the same key blank.

I bought these a few years back from the same seller. I have yet to get them cut though. Less than $14 shipped. Probably just need to call around and ask how much to cut a key for a late 90s ES300.

Flea Market has them also...have to look for a guy that can do Milly type keys...I found a guy at my local Flea Market he done one for $14...$7 for regular key. I asked him if it didn't open the door or turned the ignition if he'd refund or recut he said yes, didn't have to in my case

I had to buy another key. It cost me 59.95 at the dealer. They need your VIN and proof of ownership to get a perfectly cut (non worn out) key.

I agree on the steep price. Didn't have time to order blanks let alone finding a locksmith who would cut the key.
I'm wasn't sure how much wear and tear my original key had so I just got a fresh cut one from the dealer.
Funny thing is I get the new key with the newer Mazda logo on it. It worked perfectly.

Let us know how yours turns out

Well I ordered my Millenia key blanks off EBay Thursday I called the locksmiths today and they are telling me they dont want to do it unless its one of there keys there scared of the steel or something messing up the laser or whatever??? They just ordered the laser cutting machine they said and wont have it in until next week and then there going too call me and give me a price on a key. Anyways I just waisted my $15 on these 2 keys . Or, are they trying to just rip me off? Anyone intersted in key blanks? I GOT 2!!!
