I've taken my only key to Wal-Mart and to a local locksmith. Neither could duplicate the key. I really don't want to have to go to the dealership (it's 30 miles away).

I came across this site:
http://www.jaggraveyard.com/product_info.p...products_id=729

Any thoughts? How did you guys get your key duplicated (assuming you bought your car used and only received one)?

I got mine at a local locksmith. You have to call around to find one with the right kind of key cutter.

I went to a local locksmith about 4 miles away from my house...he charged me $35 for the duplicate. The Millenia key is different...the locksmith had a special machine to cut it.....I stood and observe the locksmith very closely.......He had to read then manually enter a series of codes in the cutting machine in order to duplicate the Millenia key........

You either go to the dealer with your VIN and they get the key for you, this is the expensive way. Or you find some key blanks from ebay and find a locksmith that can dublicate "laser-cut" keys. If dealer wants the original key then they work with a locksmith and charge you triple times..

The millenia uses laser cut keys. Getting duplicates is gonna be a PITA unless you go to the stealership even then its gonna be a PITA.

May the locksmith cannot afford a laser cutter.....Honestly, I'm quite shocked I can't believe a profitable company such as Walmart can afford a "laser-cut" machine.
