<div align="left">Hi - Newbie here! Glad to find this forum.

I have a large crack in the air mass meter boot, and I'm picking up a new one from the dealer today. It looks simple enough to replace, but since I've not yet done any work on this particular car myself (and don't have a manual), I was just wondering if there was anything special tricks or gotchas I should be aware of before I start. Also, should I remove and clean the MAS while I'm at it? Anything else I should take a look at or clean?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Is you car a stick shift? what happens when you rev it? As long as the dealer repair the damage it will be okay.

First. Welcome to the forum. Regarding your air mass meter turn of the car first then, unscrew the clamps and pull off your air mass meter, once you pulled it of you can put another one on.
