Just decided to take the Milly out of mothball and put her back on the road. She's not mobile yet but will be by October this year. I need to replace the windshield, front and rear brakes, tires and finish things off with an alignment. I was looking for a decent priced older 4x4 but that never panned out. I am driving a cherry 95 Nissan pickup right now and have no intention of letting that see winter road salt. The Mills has been a good sport about the retirement by starting every single time. I think I will roll the dice and fix it up to drive for the rest of the payments I owe on it. It's really a nice car when you boil it down. So here I am back on the boards once again.

I hit her with the clay bar, rubbing compound and buffer last weekend. She shined right up.

j-allan: Don, how can you sleep at night knowing your car is available to drive 24/7? Very, very tasteful mods, IMO, from the signal mirrors to the hids and engine compartment, well done!
Kat_Daddy: btw, i think plat still holds the milly crown here. Don is moving into the #1 contender spot though...
Roof: Don has the makings of a good padawan.
we will have to see where this goes before i take him under my wing

BH: the true post of a post ***** can only be measured over time. He must remain constant throughout the ages

A good sized rock hit me on the expressway. The hot and cold has caused the windshield to crack even more over time. It's over 2 feet long now.

On a separate note....

I started pulling apart the rear brakes to update everything that has gone bad back there. Come to find out there is nothing left of the parking brake shoes. Does anyone have a link to a good parking brake assembly write up? Everything is toast back there and needs to be replaced big time.
