Thumbs down

Hi
This is my first post on this forum.
I have Xedos 9 (Millenia for US). I've read the trouble codes with LED because i don't have check engine light. My car have an OBD-I connection.

When engine is cold, work rapidly, some times the acceleration is poor. This symptoms are in low RPM 1500-2500, but when engine is hot all problems almost disappear. Ive changed two O2 sensors but no effect. After erase codes and start the engine led flashes the same trouble codes.
Please help me !
ps. Sorry for my English
Greetings from Poland

10 - Intake air temperature sensor (IATS) (P0110)
12 - Throttle position sensor (TPS) (P0120)
13 - Manifold pressure sensor (P0105)
15 - Heated o2 sensor (HO2S) lacks output (always below 0.55v) (P0154 or P0160 but not sure)

An odd combination of codes. I'll have to think about this one.

I'am also registered on polish mazda forum and they told me that could be a knock sensor.

Knock sensor circuit malfunction is code 05 or P0325. The engine runs normal but is even more gutless than stock sub 4500 rpm with a busted knock sensor, due to retarded ignition to avoid knocking.

Things you can check yourself which may not be related to the codes but is easy to do:
-the intake rubber for leaks
-connectors to sensors, actually connected?
-vacuum hoses, might be a good idea to replace as preventive maintenance if your car is more than 10 years
-same goes with plug wires

Maybe you can find used sensors in a salvage yard and try to replace them? I'd wait with the TPS and try the two others first.

Anyway, welcome to the forum!

I've measure the knock sensor. I put one multimeter pin to engine ground and other to the sensor cable and multimeter shows no conductivity. I've readed milenia manual and writes that knock sensor must have ~560kOHM. That shows that my sensor died? Where i can buy one for my engine and how much will it cost?

The knock sensor should measure 560 ohms, not kiloohms. If there is no continuance at all it is either shot or your multimeter or cables is dodgy.

I paid $140 plus shipment for the sensor in USA. Saved me $200 compared to here. It should cause a code though.

Code 13 wasn't listed at the Xedos 6 site I found. Code 13 (manifold pressure sensor) came from a pre-OBDII list for the Mazda RX-7 of the same era, which was also sold internationally so it's a hunch. I think it is safe to say the IAT and TPS codes are sure bets since they are printed on the code printout so start with those since they are far easier and cheaper to repair compared to a knock sensor. If IAT and TPS test OK (they almost never fail, especially in pairs), you may be looking at an engine management computer problem or a damaged wiring harness. Finding out what code 13 is "officially" from a Xedos 9 factory service manual or even just a code list from a database would be more than helpful though.

I've measure the IAT and TPS and they work perfectly. I fink that problem is in the knock sensor. A guy from polish mazda forum had the same 4 errors at the same time and knock sensor was bad, but he have KJ engine. I measure the nock sensor and my have no conductivity between sensor and GND.

I am not sure if this will fit the 2.0L engine, but it is a great price. You would have to contact the seller to ask about shipping to Poland.
