I was about to say look for Timken, then read the rest As far as I know it is a very good brand when it comes to bearings (better than chinese mazda bearings). Never used though so no real experience..

Thx saint...

Looks like Mazda made a change in June of 2000, as there are different parts before and after 06/13....gotta check the date on mine...

Wonder what they changed?

Also , is it good practise to change both sides at the same time?

Not necessarily. My rear RH hub was changed 3 years ago, left one is still good.

Wow, just checked out RockAuto (banners come in handy sometimes!)...great site, great price $67 and really cheap shipping to Canada $25...

Here's the link to the parts for my milly 2000s built 05/00....

Link to RockAuto Part

For the others that got the Timken, is that the same part#512118?

The one at AutoPartsWarehouse here has a totally different Timken part#W0133-1602572

Other Timken Part Link

I'm slightly confused

From autopartswarehouse: Fit note: w/ Bearing - From 6/14/00.

The one from RockAuto should fit fine, that is the same one I bought. When in doubt for something like that, cross reference with another good company like Beck/Arnley and see if they also say it should fit. Part numbers for both Timken and Beck/Arnley change for 01/02. The date from above 06/14/00 is probably when they started manufacturing model year 2001.

I really like their site. I have ordered from them a dozen or so times over the past couple of years and have always had a good experience, and they usually have the best price.
