Is it just me or the driver side center vent blows more air? Also where does it suck the air from in recirc mode??

I haven't noticed more air from one vent or the other but I believe recirculated air gets sucked in somewhere beside the blower just underneath the dash.

Yes I noticed the other day that the driver side center vent does blow about one step faster than the passenger side. But it's unnoticeable unless you're looking for it. It makes sense though to have air flow focused on the driver since there's always a driver but not always passengers.

Today I checked and I noticed that the far left vent blows slightly less than the center vents and the far right vent seems to be the same as the center. It is by a very small amount that you would have to be looking for to notice. I have the 95 though, so there could be a difference in the system.

any chance you or the prior owner had a dog? that hair gets matted up in the heater/evap core, and REALLY restricts/alters flow. i just cleaned the core in the subaru, half was restricted. dog hair also clogs up the drain tubes. we had this a lot in the shop. big job to clean, but amazing results

The filter is changed a year ago and evaporator looks very clean. No hair, lots of tree leaves..
