2000 2.5

It has been a long time since I posted on here, but I have been browsing this site for information for about 7 years.

I bought this car in 2002, it had 32,000 on it. My commute is about 100 miles a day. The air still blows cold and all the speakers work fine. Car rides rough, but on the freeways smooth as when I first bought it. Exterior is still in good shape (needs to be waxed). Interior other than driver’s seat, steering wheel, and door handle looks brand new. It has a little oil leak, but o’well. The only real issue I have is when I am in reverse and not on the gas pedal car is a little rough. Car has never left me on the side of the road. Great car

Parts replaced
Speed sensor rewired, 02 sensors, 1 alternator, 1 starter, Front control arms, Steering wheel motor, 1 fuel pump, 3 tune ups (need one now), 2 timing belts, 1 serpentine belt, had the valve seals redone at 280,000.

Parts not working
Steering wheel tilt motor, cd player, heated seats, sun roof (my fault though, I tried to close the shade by reaching in the car. Mechanically sunroof works fine. Shade is off track.

I also included some pictures of my other car 2005 350Z

That is a huge milestone. Everything looks great too, you would never know how many miles were on it. Is it still a daily driver?

I was a fan of the 350Z... Now I'm a fan of the 370Z Haha!
The new clutch/rev matching tech they invented is absolute joy!!

Holy Crap! I've been on edge with my Millenia many times as to whether to junk it or fix it and I am only approaching 200K Miles! I have a 1995 too! You have set a new standard. Its either a love hate relationship with me and my Millenia and if I didn't know it inside out it would have already sucked all the funds out of me.

I drive the piss out of it and its never left me stranded either but then again I baby the **** out of it. I assume you own an L, as the S models don't seem to last nearly as long.

Way to go man!! I've got a 2000s with about 180,000 K, so you've got 480,000 K on it!!!

So that means I can expect another 300,000 K outa mine

Jokes aside, I'd like to get another 100K/4 years if possible, I know I'll probably have to throw about $4K into her,
she is a labour of love....

Keep her going....

My S just turned over 76,000 miles,I hope it lasts til 300,000,because that would be awesome. One of my first cars was a 1980 Ford Granada with 400,000 miles.

Wow, that's really encouraging and a testimont to the longevity and reliability of these cars. I can see why Consumer Reports rated it a 'good bet' for used cars. Your car is a spitting image of my 99 except mine only has 90,000 on it. Good job.

The engine should be run in by now

Have you never had any tranny issues?

Your sun visor should be possible to fix; pull it to about half open position, and then pry it upwards on one side at the time, you will probably see a plastic slider which has skipped out of the alloy guide. Just pry it back on track using mild violence and it should be smooth for the next 300k! Happended to me as well.
