Did the previous owner ever have the timing belt changed? Sounds like the kind of symptoms you'd get with out of phase camshafts from a slipped timing belt or failed belt tensioner. A compression test will reveal radically different compression between the two banks if that is what has happened.

Well after a frustrating night, before I went to sleep I thought about what saint said about the starting fluid not making it far enough. I dont know where the pcv valve is on the s model because I never had to change one. But I did manage to find a WD-40 can I had laying around the house, with the plastic straw thing on the end. I took it off the wd 40 can and put it on the starting fluid can and then opened the throttle body wide and shot it down the hatch.... The **** thing started for a few seconds and shut off. So I guess my problem was the gas all along! Did all that changing of the spark plugs for nothing! Now I gotta figure out why shes not getting any gas. Im guessing a fuel pump and fuel filter change should fix the problem. I have dropped the tank on a milly before. Dont really want to do that again. All those **** gas lines didnt make any **** sense to me. I was so frustrated I turned it into a 3 day job. and the hardest part was hooking the primer harness back up in the center of the tank. No **** room to work at all. I ended up yanking the wire out the harness. Then added a piece of speaker wire to make it longer, hooked it back up and had plenty of room to spare. But then was the task off snapping the gas lines back into the plastic mounting tabs that keep them secure to the tank. took me about 45 minutes to do that alone. I dont want to do that again at all. I might have to pay for that to get done.
