Hello all

can anyone tell me if the check engine light is supposed to come on when you first turn the ignition as mine is not and im sure i have a problem that would warrent this (will post in another topic)

also can anyone tell me which reader I will need (Xedos 9 2.3 Miller UK / Millenia S (US)) I have found one on ebay at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAR-DIAGNOSTIC-CODE-...id=p3286.c0.m14 (ebay uk item code 180388636377)

I think that at least some, possibly all Xedos did not have a CEL and are not OBDII. If you have no light for it when you turn on the ignition, I would guess that you probably don't have it. But you can still read the codes if you read through this:
