How many miles? Timing belt tensioner may be bad. There is timing belt under the plastic cover behind the serpentines.[/b]
106K on the mileage. I did leave one belt on, but I am starting to think the noise is coming from under the plastic and may just in fact be the timing belt tensioner. I will take the other belt off tomorrow and see what I get but im almost sure its under the plastic now.

That is probably it, best to double check with the second belt off too though. I can't see any other part of the engine making that sound other than something belt related.

Take the t-belt cover bolt in the front off and you should be able to bend the cover enough to see the belt. It may have oil on it from bad tensioner.

106k is not high though. Mine is at 124k and tensioner is still good. I dont see why yours would be bad.
