Engine Identification Sticker

New to the forum..... question for everyone:

I just bought a 2000 millenia s which seems to be in very good condition. I have been reading up on the car and noticed there are two engine options. I have the Miller Cycle which I see is a 2.3L engine. However on the underside of the hood of the car a sticker says it is a 2.5L engine with the code YTKXV02.5VB4

I did a VIN check and it comes back showing the vehicle is a 2.3 millenia s model. Does anybody else have a Miller Cycle engine with the same engine code sticker on the hood? I'm beginning to wonder if the car had some body work done and the hood was replaced.

I think that you are probably right about the hood being replaced. That engine code goes to a 2000 2.5L so it would not have been replaced to go to the lighter 95-96 hood and since the VIN matches it was not converted to a 2.3L in its life. The only thing left is body work.
