Default Some candid pictures of a boosted KL-DE woes.

She was tired, she was boosted, she lasted as long as she did.

Front

Portions of where the rod flew out!

Appears the #3 rod broke loose and flew out the block.
Hack job in tuning and far too much boost. She needed to go either way.
KL-ZE going in tomorrow. Install pics to follow shortly.

WOW... can't wait to see what you have in store. BTW welcome to FL.

EDIT: I remember doing something like that with my 95 honda accord that I sent back to the dealer with a busted motor. Long story short, they cheated me and wouldnt honor their warranty, the car had developed a serious knock. And I was threatening to turn the car back in and they were threatening to ruin my credit. Turns out the motor had work done to it while I had left it with them/before I bought it. There was new and old sealant around the vcg. And they tried to blame me for negligence. BBB got involved then tallahassee and they said i was off the hook so i finished the job. Had metal pieces and oil on the ground under the car. Told them to come get the car and they're going to need it towed and the keys are in it, and its parked on the side of the house. Tranny was going out too. It would sputter and slip in 1st gear. I'd have to shift it from D to 1st then back. I almost got in plenty of wrecks because of the tranny slipping. TEST DROVE THE CAR AND IT RAN PERFECT! After the paperwork and on the drive on the CEL came on and it started jumpin on me. Took it back to the dealer multiple times. It was the 1st car I bought from a "Buy Here Pay Here" at 18. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Till this day I will NEVER go back to that place and stay away from those lots. I have great credit, got a milly and im happy.

Hmm ... I wonder what the trash people would say when you put out the aluminum block for recycling on trash day?

HAHAH! Screw that! The block has enough aluminum in it that its almost worth driving it down to the scrap yard myself and collecting a little extra $$ on the side.

I can't wait to pull the crank. Its gotta look hideous
When the block exploded it sprayed oil all over the place. I covered nearly two lanes with oil and small pieces of the internal guts.
