Default What I hate about my Millenia ...

1) Is the fan speed selector. If I'm on level #2, why should I have to cycle through fan speeds 3 and 4 to take it back to level #1?

I guess this is actually related to the "auto" cooling and heating feature on the vehicle. But, I still don't like it. I just wish there was a rotary switch where we could just turn it to the left to take the fan speed down a notch.

That's all ...

lol yeah it took me forever to figure that out when I first bought the car. Hmm what IS it that I dont like about my millenia?

The passenger rear door panel keeps popping off. Cant let anyone pull on the handle or it'll halfway pop off. Annoying, but dont know what to do. Other than that I dont have any more qripes. Maybe less vacuum lines? lol

on your door panel, if you mean the inside panel... check to make sure the door rubber is going on the outside of the panel.. if its not then the door snaps wont snap in tight.

also check that your not missing door snaps.

I had the exact same issue. Same door, too. A few dabs of Liquid Nails fixed it right up a few years back.

You think that's bad...go look under the hood of a 1G MX6.

I don't like the minimal space to work under the hood. The engine is too cramped to work on easily.

My 2.5L Millenia has way more space to work on under the hood than my Taurus with the 3.0 Duratec engine had. I never thought I'd say it, but I guess I just did.

But, hey, this was your chance to respond about what you didn't like about the Milly - sorry to respond such as I did.

Pssst! T2T. There is a rotary dial. It adjusts the temperature. So if the fan is too fast just turn the temp down. It's way easier than dealing with the fan button imho.

Yeah, but I live outside of Washington, DC - not in Iowa. I need to keep my temp setting at 65 so the car will stay cool enough - but, regulate the flow of air via the fan speed settings. If I were in another part of the country - that didn't have the A/C demands that my part has, I'm sure using the temperature dial would be fine.

What's the big deal? If you're on "3", hit the button 3 times to jump down to 2 lol. That's sorta how I learned...it's always 3 clicks for one down, etc. Of course my car has been broke for 4 months so I bet I forgot everything about driving it! [It's getting closer to being done though]

Also T2T, I know about the tauruses...BLAH! I hate those cars. Everything about them lol.

Carry on then!
