Default vent selection, Help

ok here is a good one...

On the millenia there is a button on the dash for the climate control that alows you to select the direction of the air. Front dash vents, Dash and Floor Mix, floor only, Floor and Defroast, defrost only etc. When transitioning between the options, the two center vents dont always kick back on. The two sides work everytime but the center is intermited.

Yes the vent is open. How does it switch between the options, vaccume lines, electric motors?

Any Ideas?

Also one of my front vents is stuck, the driver side vent, How do i remove the vent?
