Default Thinking of Replacing My Shocks, Struts!

I am think to try to get my Millenia to ride like a "new" Millenia!

Here is the link for the parts shown below: PartsTrain.com - Hard to Find Auto Parts and Truck Parts - Struts - For 1995 Mazda Millenia L 6 Cyl 2.5L

Here is what I going to use to replace the rears:

KYB GR-2/Excel-G Shock Absorber and Strut Assembly - Rear Suspension
For 1995 Mazda Millenia L 6 Cyl 2.5L

Fronts are:

OES Genuine Shock Absorber and Strut Assembly - Front, Driver Side

OES Genuine Shock Absorber and Strut Assembly - Front, Passenger Side

OES Genuine Shock and Strut Mount - Front

Rubber boots/stops

What else do I need to get to complete the project and the cost of each additional part?

Is there other vendors that are better in price or quality?

Thanks again.

1. Struts are cheaper from online dealers (OEM).
2. I would def. put some eibachs once in there
3. Bumper stops should be toasted by now.
4. Prolly need lower seats as well (I do for 01).

You'll need a spring compressor. Rent one.

Don't bother getting Eibachs unless you don't care about how it rides (which I'm pretty sure you do since you're changing them) You'll just be replacing the shocks/struts in another 30k or less.

Coilovers would be the way to go, you choose the ride height and the comfort level

Since I'm in this category also - nearing or passed the time to replace the struts, I've been doing a little digging. It seems quite hard to find regular struts for this vehicle. I'm getting some hits at the on-line parts sites - partstrain, etc. - but nothing at Rock Auto. What's the big secret here? I guess that there wasn't too many Millenias made, so therefore, the struts are only manufactured by a few companies?

What about Gabriel? Other like them? I guess I can't believe there's not more offerings than what I'm seeing.

We should feel lucky if we can find OEM struts. Think about it they have been keeping those struts for almost 10 years now.

Hi everyone! I love the talk here! I going to do further research and find out how much the front two struts are from Mazda. I will post my thoughts!

In the front there are two options regarding shocks; OEM or Clues coilovers.
In the rear there are three: the two mentioned above and KYB GR2.

The KYBs are good, I have them. Easily outperforms the stock rears. I don't know about the coilovers. Yet
