It'll cost you $10K to get it off the blocks and running again?

PSYCHE...!!! My 2.3 kept up with an 04 Pontiac Grand Prix supercharged (260HP), and it makes way more power than a shitty V6 stang. He couldn't blow the doors off of my car like he thought. The Japanese was on to something with the Miller Cycle. I should go out an race a shitty V6 stang just to make myself feel better. Waste of gas, time, and money if I get caught. Oh and unnecessary wear to a precious car. And if you look @ it this way, the 2.3 makes more horsepower/liter than most V6's on the market IIRC.

Nope. It'll take a lot less. Id say 3-4k would get it up to par so I can get it through inspections. The other money would go to body work. As of now it sits in a garage I rent with new intercooler piping waiting to be installed along with new wiring harness'. Some little things to finish on the interior. The previous owner thought cutting into the stock wiring harness was fine to attach wires to. His connections were just wrapped together and electrical taped. This was an impulse buy that will never happen again. DONT BUY SOMEONE ELSES PROJECT! lol. Lesson learned. I sure do wish I had the time/money to put into it. The car was pretty neglected on the exterior as you can see. Wrecked as well before.

ME- No it is not AWD. Wish it was though .
This photo was taken the day I got the car. Its different now. These ugly arse racing seats have been taken out along with a few other stupid things. My objective is to get the body back to a somewhat stock JDM look and have it painted a dark gunmetal or maybe even a matte black color.

Kind of like this..

Yeah Drew that generation eclipse is STILL very popular. So was the last generation. Either way it's going to look nice once you finish. I still don't know why some people insist on cutting/splicing certain wires. Kind of remind me when HIDs first came out. I wanted them for my first car, but there was NO WAY I was going to cut/splice. I'd blow myself 20 feet away or set the car on fire, or ***GASP*** both... I've seen on the internet loads of times of the fame angel eye's installation went wrong. Some people's car burned all the way to the ground. Now that HIDs are plug in play that works for me, and if I ever get a E46 M3 (dreaming big again) and the headlights on DDM Tuning become plug and play then I know what I'd be getting. lol

It's really not bad. As long as it's done properly. Either soldered or crimped. But, twisted around the other and then taped? Come on now! If it's ever needed though, I recommend these posi-tap connectors. Awesome little things. Just goes right into the other wire without the need of cutting/stripping. All you really have to check is the wire gauge size. Something that kinda grew on me in 10 years of working with wires.

My friends Stang has a K & N CAI(Cold Air Intake), but I have a straight pipe in place of the cat(which gives max power and more than any catback performance exhaust). So we both have mods that add 5-10 bhp. That would make 195-200 for his stang and 215-220 for the Milly, but the Milly weighs 3200-3300 pounds and the Mustang weighs 3100 lbs...
Man, that's movin!! What will it do 0-70? I think the mustang will take you

I am pretty sure the 3.8 supercharged cars run 14's stock, so if he was stock I imagine he would not pull on you too hard.

I really don't think your horsepower/liter arguement is good because you are boosted. You can also say you make less than all 4 cylinder turbo cars.

Millenia has more power and slightly taller gearing, i imagine the higher the speed the more faster it will be than the stang..

Also doesnt that gen of Eclipse look eerily similar to the 92-97 gen Hond Civic coupe, especially in black ?? That was the last good gen Civic besides maybe the new ones, the 98-05 looked girly and cartoony
