Yes grounded coil pack back when did fuel pump.. only did Cylinder #1 but was fine.

Could it be the security system or would it behave different to the YouTube video I posted?

if it was a sensor or something like that, the computer would cut the ignition (no spark). The starter wouldn't even turn over. if you think I'm kidding unplug the cam position sensor and try to turn the car over.

if you see spark, the ECU thinks everything is ok.

just pull a fuel rail and put a bucket or water bottle or something there to catch the fuel. use safety glasses and keep a rag handy. I'm still suspecting no fuel

if your fuel line is clogged somewhere between the tank and the injectors

you have spark, you have electrical signal to the injectors. don't see what else it could be

I was playing with my car this evening and noticed that when the MAF sensor is unplugged the car did something similar to what yours did.

check the MAF sensor, the IAC motor, and the intake plumbing.

just a suggestion, though mine seemed to stumble for a second or 2 before dying completely. yours seemed to die right away.

I towed the car to the local EFI specialist ... they put the intercooler & plumbing together and NO success ...

Diagnostics (osciloscope... etc... ) shows that it looses "injector pulse width" after about 8 'firings" ...

it has constant spark... the funny thing is ... once it dies ...you try to crank it again ... and those initial 8 pulses from the injectors are no longer there ...
.. you have to turn the key back to "off" position then back to 'Acc-scssories" then it will crank over for those 8 pulses once again... something I noticed even myself...

we tried another key ( thinking possibly security immobilizer issue ) ... with no success... now the EFI specialist has no idea ... and said if he doesn't fix it next attempt within an hour or so ... I'll have to take it back...

could it NOW be the ECU ?? maybe control module to the injectors??

noooooooooo idea. maybe try a junkyard or ebay and get a spare ECU to try. $50 experiment. not sure if it's worth it to you
