The car runs strong and no high/low idle like if it were the ABV the was at fault.
lites back on going to get it read tomorrow
it doesnt idle low/high with a half bad ABV solenoid. p1525 is an electrical problem, either the solenoid is bad, the wire is bad, not connected or ECU is shot. 99% of the time it is the solenoid.

If it is 96-02, it is the ABV vacuum solenoid in the diagram:

That group of 4 is by the firewall at the center, next to EGR.

So it is up on top by the EGR, back side
Re tested -got 170 173 and 1524, which indicated the TPS and this one makes sense do to the lean trim indicated by the 170-3. I could not get good readings on the potentiometer, or good voltage readings. So I am, in my mind figuring out how to get some kind of reading that is usable. Its just the position of everything related to getting a decent reading. like standing on ones head.
Thanks Saint, I appreciate your info.

Costco on The Queensway east of Islington sells gas now, premium is usually 1-3 cents above the posted price for regular gas at other stations. I save about $6-7 per tank as I live close so I can go there regularly. Not sure about the ethanol levels though I should ask or check the machine next time I go. Something to think about if you go past it I suppose. I think they have it at the Costco in Barrie as well maybe?

Usually a vacuum leak causes a higher than normal idle situation, and an acceleration hesitation. These parameters have not changed. If its there all the time then I will look in this direction.
Thanks any way.
