2.5 expansion tank overflow

I would check my coolant every few months and always needed to be topped off but never overheated until it finally went and a usually 10 min drive took me 2 hours due to overheat I also had some water like drips on the slash guard too only after i turned the car off but after the replacement never happened again plus like I said its the cheapest and easy thing to do first

It was a pump installation issue. The guy at the shop stuffed so much silicone in with the o-ring that it distorted the ring, ultimately causing the seal to fail. Nice.........

wow... dont ever go back to that guy.

if he ****** up a gasket, imagine what else he screwed up...

The damage was done three years ago. Took that long for the o-ring to blow out. Have found a new guy, a New Zealander, who does nice clean work and is well versed on the KL.

So after one tank of gas I notice a 5 mpg drop. Check timing. 5 degrees off. Strike one, mate.
