Default Rattle on driver side

Just got a Millenia S with 95,000 miles to play with today.
CEL was on, codes P1250, P0755 and P1770 were showing. Cleared codes and CEL is off now but P1250 still shows up on code reader.
The car handles and rides good. It tracks good too but there is a rattle coming from the driver side when driving on rough surfaces. When shifting from reverse to neutral there is a light clunk too, nothing from drive to neutral.
I read some threads that point to the lateral link as the most likely cause. When I get it jacked up, what else should I be looking for?

Had a look around the front driver side suspension.
Looks like the previous owner was pouring money into fixing the front end rattle. The sway bar link has been replaced, sway bar bushings look new, Sway bar even looks new, strut looks new, lower control arm bushings might be new too. There is a ton of new stuff in there.
The lateral link is old but feels tight as does the top lateral link. No play in the front wheel at all, in any direction. Used a pry bar too, everything is tight.
I thought it was going to be easy to find.

Anyone got thoughts on where I should be looking next?

There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) that on some years/VIN ranges they installed the control arm bushing upside down from the factory. To fix that you have to replace the bushing, but you need a hydralic press to press it out and press a new one back in. Or just replace the entire control arm which has the bushing already installed. The TSB's should be somewhere on this site. If you have this problem, the symptoms are more of a "cluck" sound when driving slowly over rough roads or speed bumps. The sound also gets louder in cold weather compared to warm weather.

If it is more of a "rattling" or "clicking" sound, then that might be either CV joints or lateral link.

I've had a clunking sound for almost 8 years on my Millenia S. The car drives fine. I've also thrown alot of money at my front end trying to fix it. At this point, I've replaced just about everything on the front-end driver's side with the exception of the struts, and can't seem to fix that darn clunking noise. I'm in a warm climate, so it only clucks about 2 months out of the year. So I finally got to the point of turning up the radio and living with it.

These sounds usually correlate to these parts going bad. (But not an exact science...)

"Clunk" or "Thud" (usually single or multiple clunks over speed bump or rough roads) - Control Arm Bushing.
"Rattle" (more of a continous quick metalic rattling over rough roads)- Lateral Link.
"Clicking" (usually while making hard/tight turns from a stand still under hard accelaration) - CV joint.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking "Rattle" fits the description. I'll look closer at the lateral link when the rain stops.
I should have looked at this car a little closer and drove it on the highway before buying it. It seemed fine test driving in town.
Today I found that the engine revs high on the highway like it is not shifting past 2nd gear. It revs about 5000 rpm for 100 km/hr.
The code it throws, P0755, is for the shift solenoid B. I noticed that while driving the headlight indicator blinks on and off randomly and the dash lights blink on and off. It is wet today, so I'm hoping it is a wiring or ground problem.
But where to start looking, that is the question...lol
More research required.
I'll be wading through the wealth of info on these forums...hopefully I'll find the answer.

Mind sharing what you paid for the car?

Adding to my confusion. I'm not used to theis car and may be chasing a phantom problem.
I wiggled tranny electrical connector to reseat it, cleared P0755 code, no more code while driving but it still revs high when on the highway. If I drop shifter from D to S the tranny downshifts. Earlier today I could clear P0755 and it would return on the next shifting cycle, now it doesn't. I'll take the plug apart, clean it up and measure the solenoids resistance when the rain stops but just reseating it seems to have done something and clean up all the grounds.

Does the Miller cycle 2.3 rev high normally? What rpm's should I expect to see at 100 km/hr?

Has anyone had issues with the tach reading wrong because when on the highway it doesn't sound to me like the engine is running at the 5k rpm's indicated on the tach at 100 km/h.

The P0755 code came back tonight but still no CEL on.
