We have a 1990 Protege with color codes for body paint, upholstery, etc.
However, this car has Mazda steel wheels and nowhere do we find a paint code, name, or anything for the paint on the steel wheels. Three of the four wheels need repainting and we'd like them to be painted the same color as stock, but body shops haven't been able to identify the color. Can anyone tell us what the paint color is, or where to get it? We're in Baltimore. Thanks. |

Even if you pay extra for a color match paint, the finish on the 4th wheel you're trying to match has 15+ years of fade and likely won't be an exact match to the other three newly painted wheels unless it was stored in a box most of its life. Instead, why not paint all four wheels with a wheel paint that's a close color match and is readily available? Less expensive and the end result will probably look better.
