Hi there,
So I've noticed while driving during traffic jams on the highway that my car will suddenly just start vibrating. It's not extremely bad, but it's quite noticeable. This usually happens at low speeds (note: traffic jams) and on relatively good roads (highway) so I don't think it has to do with the suspension.
I was wondering if there's any way to diagnose this problem? I think it's probably either the engine mounting brackets (the rubber between the frame/engine might have broken or something) or it's a warped brake drum/something to do with the brakes? I'm leaning towards it having to do with the brakes, because it happens sometimes, though rarely, on city roads. How should I go about checking for this? Any suggestions? Not overly car saavy but I figure I should try and figure out if it's anything serious or not.
Thanks!

Figure out when it does this first- does it do it sitting still (rev the engine up slowly to different RPMS but lower ones usually) while in nuetral? Or only when you hit the brakes? If it does it sitting still I would be willing to bet the motor mount, and if so, the main one between the engine and the body of the car. It could be one of the others but the engine one is the most likely. If it does it when the brakes are applied, only then look into the brakes.
