Where to buy 3spd trans overhaul kits/rebuilt trans??

Hey all, Im working on my sisters 87 323 1.6i 3spd auto. she says that the trans is sometimes slipping (I havent drove it yet), so I was trying to get some prices together at what shes looking at. Because of her finances, she cannot get another car so unfortunately it has to be fixed. I bought a reman 5spd manual trans off ebay for my 92 Eclipse for $700 shipped, but I cannot seem to find any kind of deal for this car. I have a friend at work who works on GM transmission all dat, he said he might be able to rebuild hers. Is there a "go-to" place online that sells a master overhaul kit? We have a Trans Star place about 30 miles away that I havent called yet, but I wanted to get some tips from you Mazda guys before I dive too far into this.

Not sure about buying the parts, but if you want to swap it for a salvage yard unit, go to www.car-parts.com.This is the best site I have ever used- you can search world-wide or local- used it lots of times and found some great deals.
