Check Engine Light
2002 protege, recently purchased working perfectly but today on my way to work the check engine light came on, car is still running perfect. I was gonna check my fluids but i cant seem to find the transmission fluid dipstick. Car is a standard.

A manual trans does not have a dipstick. Do you know what the codes are or have you had a scanner hooked up to the car to pull the codes?
