Really need your help

So I have a 2000 mazda protege Es 1.8L, and my check engine light came on giving me OBD code of P0240, which im guessing is the cat converter because proteges are famous for cat converter problems. My question in how many converters does a 2000 protege have and is it easy to change? thank you

I've never gotten that code w/ my CX, but if it is a problem w/ your Catalytic converter, there are two that you will need replace. I'm not sure if it's easy to change, but I know it's fairly inexpensive to have a mechanic do it.
