Bang into First
Transmission on my 91 626 is acting strange, it shifts a little hard into second in all ranges, and smooths out after the trans heats up. Downshifts are fine in D and S, but in 1, it bangs when it downshifts into first. Does the the same thing in HOLD mode, which I avoid like the plague. Does this sound like a Range Sensor? What else wold cause the t rans to shift differently in different ranges?
