Hi, I hope someone can help. My car won't move when I shift into drive or reverse, it happened suddenly. I drove it to work without any problems or notification, parked and went on my way. When I was ready to leave I started it, and it sounded fine but went to shift.. nothing.
I went to autozone and they told me that maybe something came loose which I hope is the case. my Mazda is 2000 with just 137,000 miles. Any help would appreciated. Thanks! |

not sure if you found your problem but check the shifter linkage in the driver side of the transmission. If it comes off you can shift it inside the car but it wont move the trasnmission. This is an obvious one but check the fluid too.
