as i was gettin out of my car, my clutch pedal caught my shoelace, and I ended up stretching the pedal out closer towards me, and at 6'5 I need all the room I can get. how do I adjust the clutch back to its normal postion, its about an inch from where it should be

i believe there is a screw of somesort that can be tightened/ loosened to make the pedal move

is it under the hood, or right above the clutch ??

Clutch pedal adjustment can be a bit tricky. Once you set the pedal height with one adjustment, you need to adjust the pedal slack by adjusting the pushrod on the clutch cylinder. The rod needs to be lengthened to take up the slack in the pedal, but not too much so as to pre-load the pressure plate in the transmission. The pedal height and slack amount is specified in the service manual, but for the most part you can just make sure the height and slack is adjusted so that the clutch is fully disengaged when pressed and fully engaged when raised. You may have also slightly bent the metal bracket that the clutch rests against when released and you just need to strong arm it back into place.

Oh yeah, both adjustments should be under the dash above the clutch.
