I was hopeing someone may be able to give me some insight to this problem as I'm not mechanically inclined in the least! the day time running lights and low beams dont come on , but the high beams still work and all the interior insturment panals light up as well as the tail lights, any Ideas? I was thinking it may be the actual switch that turns the lights on, but why no day time running lights? I dont have a clue ! Thankyou for your help in advance! (1988-929)

My 1988 929 doesn't have daytime running lights. Did someone install an aftermarket kit? I'm in Canada, and that's where these would likely be used, as I didn't think US cars got them until much later.
You can check for a blown fuse, and also check the bulbs, although I doubt they'd both have a blown low beam filament.
