On the express way I get a notchy feeling in the steering wheel. I believe that the speed sensetive steering is trying to work but not fully functioning cause the wheel goes from hard to turn to regular. I've checked the steering fluid and its fine. You guys ever come across this??

I kinda notice this, it does have to do with the speed sensitve steering, sometimes it can feel loose and other times it can feel tight. I think it has to do with the system gettin old ? wasnt this pretty new at the time for Mazda ?

I'm to understand it was a "new technology" for Mazda. Sort of pisses me off though and its just getting worse. There isn't anything visually wrong with the rack, it doesn't leak or anything. I wish there was someway to just disconnect it so it was normal all the time. Any thoughts?

I just came back from an oil change at Mazda and they told me that I have to replace my tie rod ends cause there "about to fall off". That kinda scared me. I looked under the car and I did see some fluid leaking from the rubber boot. Im gonna take it to a front end shop on monday. Mazda quoted me $300 Can for parts labour and an alignment. I have to fix this before I take my roadtrip...
