Check flued level on level ground eng running warm if low add if discolored but level ok pos damage. also check the vac modulator valve on drivers side of trans.
Pull off hose if flued comes out replace it. BECARFUL there is a small rod that can fall out when mod valve is removed. May want to have shop do this job .

...or he, like many (too many if you ask me) forum posters, forgot that following up with the resolution on a posted problem/question is a polite way to thank those who took the time to contribute to a solution.

I'm also assuming redman fixed his problem. I, on the other hand, had to get a new transsmission - all told between parts and labor $1600.00. Having installed a new brake system (pads, calipers and rotors,), a new thermostat and radiator and now the tranny, my 92 should be humming along for a few years.
