Well there is no wires that are that color behind the stereo. and also what are the 3 connectors for? I know 2 of them go to the stereo, but there is one extra left and im not sure what its for?? any help thanks Crystal

The rear deck speakers run to a separate weenie 'sub' amp, located in the trunk behind the back panel (if the HU is cassette/radio) or in the dash area near the glove box (if the HU is a cassette/CD/radio).

well youd have to get a new deck and use the 4 channels off that, but there are 6 factory speaker locations so choose well...

This is getting trickey, with 2 posts to deal with....the little amp, if it's in the trunk, is behind the removable carpeted panel in front of the steel panel behind the backseat. It's about 1/2 the size of a lb of butter, white box, near the floor, center of panel. You don't need to remove the seat or the package shelf tray either, just the trunk wall panel. However, if you can't find it under/in the dash either, it probably got removed with the original HU.
In that case, connect the stock fronts and rear door speakers to the front and rear speaker outputs on your aftermarket HU. Then, decide if you want to run 2 small sub speakers from the HU output (if it has an amped sub-output, very doubtful), or from a separate sub-amp from the HU sub pre-out. The problem is the speaker size is oddball, about 5.25" or something like that, on those package shelf units. And they'd be free-air and 8 ohms too, which will probably sound crappy.
A better option would be to remove the shelf speakers entirely, then install either a self-contained sub or a sub-in-box with separate amp in the trunk, with bass coming up through the holes in the shelf where the stock speakers were.
As a third option, you could use the stock shelf speakers as rears instead of the rear door speakers, but they are 8 ohm, so that wouldn't give you very good sound either...and forget conecting the rear door speakers in parallel with the shelf speakers, which will give you 4 ohms/channel, but the sound stage would probably be crappy too.
What exactly do you have for HU and speakers?

what little amp are you talkin about?? what year car is it?? are you having trouble with the wiring hook up?? i had alot of trouble with that **** when i put a cd player in my car. i was stupid and cut off those little wire connectors when i could of bought a wiring harness. since i did that i had to ghetto rig it but it works. but if you are having trouble with the wiring the colors dont match up with the american cars. your best bet would be to buy a wiring harness then all you do is plug and play.

the little white box in the trunkbehind the panel is not the amp, its the silver box, about the size of a discman
