is the awd in US mazda's really dissabled?

4WD or do you mean 4WS
if you are talking about the 4WS then we don't have it
i believe only foreign markets got that option to have it installed


Here is a guy on car domain with 4 wheel steering

The rear wheels are steerable as i found out when I replaced the ball joints but there is no mechanism to automatically do so. What is used to steer them? Hydraulic pump? Electrical?

that would be a biiig bummer... i mean hauling all the weight of the linkage...just to have it dissabled? and no trunk space??? what is that car good for then...darn!!!
