Thanks mate. Yeah Casino isnt overly far from Murwillumbah where I live. its the 2L V6 Turbo. Car is VERY dirty in that pic. Ill have to post up some of it cleaned up . Do you know of anyone you could recemend thats knows some stuff about the motors in these? Got a feeling im up for a new turbo but would rather someone who knows about these engines take a look at it first.

I'm not far from lismore either, in the middle. I dont really know anyone on the north coast who would know much about these engines. Although the mechanic I go to, is startin to get to know my car better.

I think theres a place on the Gold Coast called Jap Parts, I'm sure they would know a bit about them. JapParts - Rolin Automotive Imports - Import Engines Halfcuts

However, you have come to the right website, have a look through the threads, you ought to find some valuable info on here.

keen too see some pic's when its cleaned up.

Hello from Adelaide. Seems there are quite a few of us here, i am a 1991 HD series 1 929 owner and i'm in need of help regarding suspension. As i'm sure you are aware struts are hard to come by. I have seen demo's on how to mod other brands to fit and while having the skills, i don't have the tools nor the place to do them, Is there anyone here who can either, put me in the direction of a supplier for new struts all round or know of someone who can do the mods at a fair price? This is my 3rd 929, the first being stolen and later found crashed in to a house, the second was smashed in to while parked outside work and now this one, i've had 3 years, all the clear coat has bubbled and turned white ( it's the maroon one) the shockers/struts have gone and bottom out over drains etc.. would love to make it like new again, Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Lee.
