i also agree with smen, whoever is stealing hte car will never figure out why the car died all of asudden, chances are they'll think its out of gas. I used to have a parasidic leak in one of my cars and i built a cut off switch from the neg batt, and let me tell you it was a mess. The wire had to be 3 or 4 gauge at least and the switch was ridiculous. I will never do that again.

Hi everybody im new here so tell me if im doing anything rude or wrong . Thats exactly right think of how much current u try to pass plus the switches are cheap and plastic and break all the time or malfunction. DONT put a switch on the ecu . the ecu ,especially in imports, are extremely sensitive to voltage spikes so putting a cheap 12 volt switch is a risk of burning up your ecu **** most cars require you using a grounding strap on you to keep from static electricity from frying it. Simply the best way is to get an alarm with starter disable and possibly a pager system so u can know when somebody is trying to f with your stuff and exactly what part of the car they r messing with, also it gives u a little time to see whats going on. U got to remember theives usally go for convienance, chances are if the see a car with a audible alarm the go to the next why would they bother to make a noise and attract attention. Even if you have a kill switch whats to keep them from breaking in your car and stealing your radio and other things, theives are assholes! I know 12 year olds that know how to steal a car, point is they will eventually find especially if they r in the car with no time limit . U should protect your investment its your property and as cheap as alarms are it shouldnt be an excuse if u want to cherish your 929 . Whatever you decide good luck and keep your 9 safe from them nut lickers!
