Hi, yeah, ive never wired n engine before. Im just hoping to work it out as i go. Ive already got tailshaft, exhaust, power steering, auto cooling, a/c and cruise all sorted out, it just a matter of going through wiring diagrams.
If it gets too hard a plug 'n' play wolf 3d with stand alone auto computer is the easy way out.
My main concern are pretty much just the speedo and, like u said, temp gauges etc.

Sr20det would be an awesome conversion (my brother has one in a 1976 corolla), but off boost torque would make it a painful car to drive. Thats the reason why i opted for a high-comp 3L, not for all out power but for response, as ive been in my bro's sr20na-t and it was nuts. It now has a built bottom end and scary amounts of power, just not the same seat of the pants feel
Ull have to let us know how u go..

Heres a pic of the beast while its getting undercoated, but before guide coat.

its going to be the original burgundy metallic base, but with gold pearl in the clear.
One problem i encountered with the 2jz na-t is that the GTE manifolds, intake and exhaust, dont fit the GE motor. Exhaust manifold is easy enough to get around but the inlet will either require alot of IC piping to bring it round to the original or a custom job (which is easy enough with the standard design).
Just some food for thought.

ps ive got the contact number of a guy in newcastle that makes exhaust manifolds to do away with the original cast exhaust manifold between turbo to CAT convertor (as they do restrict them selves from the manifold just Y peicing themselves).
this kit separates the exhaust of both turbos right down to near the cat and give quite a massive amount of difference in throttle responce and power gain.

Premier exhaust is there name.. (australian number) 0249 603911

he supplied aloty of guys in america as well..

Thats right, the 2jz-ge soarer motor only has 168kw, which is a massive jump over the stock SOHC and only a 21kw jump over the DOHC. While its gana have a higher stall converter and shift kit, its only cruiser/driver thing. I just love the proven strength of the toyota motor (and i got it dirt cheap )
Im all for turboing the stock motor, nice and original! Ull have to post some of your dyno and quarter times up in that thread! Can you remember what u had at wheels? I think stock 2jzge is only good for bout 120-125 kw at wheels through n auto.
