In April 09' I was driving my blue series II entering a 90 degree corner in D3 @ 50km/hr. I stayed on the inside & a poorly placed man-hole cover threw my car into a uncontrollable slide. I curbed my front rim good & damaged the lower control arm & possibly the front sub frame. When I looked at my front tires, it was also evident that I needed an alignment more than i thoiught i would. A combination of poor toe alignment & camber wore the tires down unevenly. The damage was ugly & times were tough so I had to donate the front end & scrap the car along the way since I had no time & money for it in the foreseeable future. I kept as much as I could, including everything I need for the 5 speed swap. Since then Ive been driving my 929S closing in on 98,000kms. This contributed to my lack of love for the 929 & absence from the forum over the last while.

I just spent the last 3 hours polishing a set of Stich OG mesh wheels I just mounted on my 929S. Pictures up soon.

I still lurk these forums, I still have 929 love...

Got my **** together recently & found some time, cleaned the ride got a hold of a Nikon D60 for use. Ive Been driving my series II daily lately... shes sitting @ 102,000 kms. Due for a timing belt/tune up & TLC in the near future. Its needs some serious car detail/body work around the fenders & some idiot kicked in my side-view driving mirror; so its looking pretty worked. Suspension is tired & it looks and feels it.

Like mentioned earlier Im riding on Stich 2 piece mesh, these have stepped lips. For some reason these seem to be common shoes around here. Fronts are 17x8 +36 while rears are 17x9 +36. Im running 215/45/17 & 255/40/17 Falken's. I like the rims but they are just too small, Im also missing 1 center cap (help ?)... Im taking these wheels off soon so keep posted...

I managed to find some good angles of her when it was convenient & late out.
