9ine have you considered a trunk lip and/or roof spoiler. For when you get the car painted. This is a nice setup imo, it would match w/ the 929's lines and it is a nice VIP touch. Some thing like this setup, would be perfect.

This roof spoiler for the 240sx is almost a direct fit and would look good on then HC w/ a little fabing.

What do you think? You know it is the little things that make a big difference and since your it getting painted why not go the extra yard. Oh, an here is the link for the trunk lip (paint to match) and reasonably priced.

I actually have sumthin in the works. The spoilers above appear to not be far off from fitting the HC but when you actually lay it on the trunk I bet its pretty far off. The problem is finding somthing to fit the 53" widths of our trunk as I found out some of these 'M3' style spoilers come short.

Ive been thinking about something as easy as

The spoiler like on the that Jetta's would look perfect, and it would set off the VIP look nicely. Oh and I think the HC's trunk is 58" not 53" and w/ the body it is about 65''. The pics of the 240sx were just for a visual aid. I was at a tuner shop back in June to getting tires for my rims and I had a chance to try on a 240sx roof spoiler and it comes close to fitting, I don't know about the 240sx trunk spoiler?

A Deuce did you have two lower bumper lips on you old bumper.
I was looking and i saw that you lower lip was way bigger than mine.
If you do have two lower black lip's how did you get them to sit on top of one another like that.

mazdaspeed929 - my mistake, the width has to be at least 58" since the specs state the cars width is only 66.9"wide (narrow by todays standards)

i wonder how close the roof spoiler comes to fitting...

netopia - i screwed an additional lower spoiler to the existing air dam. i have it for sale here along with clear bumper lights if you are interested.

The best route would be to get the Luce spoiler.

not much of an update, just some pics of the rims showing fitament. i mounted the 17x9 +9 on stock suspension & jacked it way up. pretty close to the look i wanted. should have more camber with the drop springs. tires on by next month when it warms up a bit. looks like my fender rollin skillz are about to get better...
