the ride is looking pretty fresh. you should spend more time on VIPcars to get your fitament right. Looking nice with the green/tan color combo too. Its a shame how we never got the HE up here...[/b]

sup guys
so far no updates but ive been doin a little bit fo a research over here

this is HD/HE jics

and this is FD3S (rx7)

well obviously they are a bit shorter(so it means it will be lower/better ride height for me cause im just not happy with my ride height now) but fork looks to be almost exact size as HD/HE one
but the eye looks a bit thinner comparing to HD/HE.
well anyway i will go to performance shop next week and give them my shocks and get them to compare them to rx7 shocks and see what they will say(d2,hks,bilstein....whatever they have)and see if it will be possible to make it work some how.probably just rewelding eye etc etc.and probably swaping top hats

You should be able to remove the heim joint on the more name brand coilovers, and replace it with one that will fit the mount bolt on your HD/HE. I know that what the q45/cedric folks have to do with s13/s14 coilovers and swap the top hats.

Although I am almost positive they were all 3/4" studs, but I am not certain.

The HD is looking good, cant wait to see it VIP'd up.

its HE by the way lol but thatnks, lots of plans but wil be very slow

with cedrics (y33)it was different, yes u could use s13 suspension but i think you had to modify steering rack.not sure about Y32s tho.

yeah well im off to performance shop to see my mate next week and see if they can match it up to my shocks.if its close to i can always get the mounts redone by an engineer and do top hats by myself...

well im currently selling my 17s...
im sick of how thin they are and how high offset is
so hopefully i can sell em and get these

they are 17x9 and offset +26 so it should fill in my guard easy as.
i know i know they not vip or anything but im sick of looking on my sunken high offset wheels and they are reasonably cheap and i stil will be able to use my 215 45 r17 tires with them i intend to keep after selling my current wheels, and it will give me a nice stretch too

since ive been without a proper job for a few weeks now(im in building industry)and atm it sucks in new zealand, so it will take me a few weeks to save up extra cash for them.

so fingers crossed.
once i have those mags ill keep my car as it is and save up for new springs and new shocks and go lower. plsu my wife finally said YES to airbags. so maybe in a few years time...hahahah

so i sold my crappy mags today and bought these!!!!

yep 3 piece lorinser rims

they are 18"
fronts are 8.5"
rears 10"
sorry not going to tell offsets cause they weak, but width is all i want atm
i will be using spacer to push the fronts out and probably 10mm spacer at the back for flushness.
now its time to save up for tires lol)
