dear friends, the airflow vents on my hd, direct the flow to the windshield, and there is no way to set it back to the front vents, i checked on the workshop manual, but no luck, i have tried the ignition on the "on" position, then auto in the a/c controls, and pressing mode, but nothing, hope to get some advice from you.

so you having an issue with the vents not changing direction from Defrost/defog to face to feet?

if i am understanding correctly, behind the dash there would be a flap that is motor driven. the motor is dead flap is jammed or broken

yes, it was jammed, so i unplug it, took the brace apart, and manually moved it, to the desired position, problem solved, but now other appeared, when i disassembled the dash, this impact off switch show up, the bad news is that i accidentally pressed it, so i don't know in which position was, i reassembled everything, and i leave it in impact off position, also there is on and off position, any help on this matter?

regards

in the service manual theres a whole section (section U for those with the fsm) dedicated to the climate control system....

jmenchetti929 maybe you should purchase a fsm on ebay or something.

thanks for the advice, but my HD, doesn't have the sun sensor, it's a 1993 model, and i do have the fsm, i tried everything in there but no luck, as i wrote, i unplug the actuator motor, and manually adjusted the vents, now it's fine, it took me a lot of time of disassembling and assembling back everything, but since the weather here where i live its mostly hot, i don't need the other functions, i don't have to worry anymore about this issue, and regarding the impact off switch, i left it in the middle position, and no problem for the moment, best regards to everyone
